Your ability to use your car for work depends on the ‘class of use’ shown on your policy, such as social, domestic and pleasure, commuting, or business use. If you drive for work beyond a single commute, you may need business use. Check your documents via our Customer Portal or contact us via the Webchat to discuss your cover with our team.

Only named drivers on your policy can drive your car with a Motorcade Insurance policy. You can add or remove named drivers through our Customer Portal, subject to acceptance and any change in premium.

Motorcade can arrange policies for a wide range of cars, from everyday run‑arounds to higher‑value vehicles, subject to acceptance. The easiest way to see if we can cover your car is to get an online quote. We’ll let you know straight away if your vehicle is acceptable and what your annual premium and monthly payments will be, subject to acceptance.

Please complete the contact us form to change the registered keeper or registered owner of the vehicle, or to change the registered plate on the vehicle.

We’ll send your renewal invitation in advance of your renewal date, so you have time to review your cover and price. If auto‑renew is turned on, we’ll attempt to renew your policy automatically using your existing payment details, subject to any checks; if it’s off, you can renew manually via our Customer Portal.

You can control auto‑renewal in our Customer Portal. Simply log in, go to your policy settings and choose whether you want your policy to renew automatically at the end of the term or not, giving you full control over your renewal.

Please report any incident to us as soon as it’s safe to do so – ideally within 24 hours. Prompt notification helps us manage your claim more efficiently and protects you if someone else later makes a claim against you, including in potential fraud scenarios.
