What people are saying

Frequently asked questions

What cover level shall I choose?

The right level of cover depends on your car, how you use it and how much protection you want.
– Comprehensive cover gives you the highest level of protection, including damage to your own car.
– Third Party, Fire & Theft (TPFT) covers fire and theft plus damage or injury you cause to others.
– Third Party Only (TPO) gives the minimum legal cover and protects only against damage or injury you cause to other people.
Always read your quote and policy documents carefully and choose the level that suits your needs and budget. After purchase, your policy documents are available in our Customer Portal.

What is digital‑first customer service?
Digital‑first customer service means you can do most things online, without needing to call us or fill in paperwork. With Motorcade, you can access our Customer Portal any time to view documents, make changes, manage payments, renew your policy and control auto‑renewal, all from your computer or mobile device. If you do need extra help, our Webchat and contact options are there to support you.
What value car can I insure with a Motorcade policy?

Motorcade can arrange cover for a wide range of cars, from everyday run‑arounds to higher‑value vehicles, subject to acceptance. The easiest way to see if we can cover your car is to get an online quote. We’ll let you know straight away if your vehicle is acceptable and what your annual premium and monthly payments will be.

Can I drive overseas with a Motorcade policy?

Policies arranged by Motorcade Insurance provide limited cover for driving in certain European countries, but the exact territory and level of cover depend on your individual policy. Check your policy documents on our Customer Portal or contact us via Webchat before you travel to confirm your cover.

Can I drive another vehicle if I have a Motorcade policy?

Policies arranged by Motorcade Insurance don’t automatically include this. Check your Certificate of Insurance and policy wording to be sure. Ideally, become a named driver or buy short‑term cover from companies such as Briefly.co.uk.

Can I use my car for work with a Motorcade policy?
Your ability to use your car for work depends on the ‘class of use’ shown on your policy, such as social, domestic and pleasure, commuting, or business use. If you drive for work beyond a single commute, you may need business use. Check your documents via our Customer Portal or contact us via the Webchat to discuss your cover with our team.
Can someone else drive my car with a Motorcade policy?

Only named drivers on your policy can drive your car with a Motorcade Insurance policy. You can add or remove named drivers through our Customer Portal, subject to acceptance criteria and any change in premium.
